Phomi initiated a material revolution, transforming natural soil into a new material: econic clay.

This new material can be oriented to derive more new materials, providing infinite possibilities of material innovation for construction, urban roads, automobiles, leather, furniture, 3D-ETCH and other fields.

Based on the basic materials of environmentally friendly econic clay, Phomi has created two emerging industries with a grand pattern and unremitting efforts: MCM soft porcelain industry and MCS sports flooring industry. Industry standards have brought about a material revolution on a global scale.

The headquarters of Phomiholding: Phomi MCM CO.,LTD. was established in 2008. It currently has eight subsidiaries, including two national high-tech enterprises, four overseas companies and two joint ventures.

Strategic Cooperation

In December 2020, PhomiHolding signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Overseas Holdings Group.

2019

Brand Cooperation Construction

In 2019, Phomi introduced the strategic management consulting project of the world's top 500 company IBM. In the same year, it cooperated with the famous German Mercedes-Benz AMG brand global showroom designer Mr. Heller to reconstruct the image of the Phomiholding brand and terminal stores. It opened a new chapter in the globalization of Phomiholding.

2015

Production Base Operation

In 2015, the second and third MC/econic clay industrialization bases of Phomi were successively completed and put into production in the Laibin High-tech Zone in Guangxi.

2014

Globalization of MCM standards

In 2014, Phomi initiated the globalization and internationalization of MCM (soft porcelain) standards, and led the editing of MCM (soft porcelain) industry standards in China, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and South Korea, and promoted MCM (soft porcelain) standards in the United States and the European Union. The establishment of industry standards will gradually realize the globalization of MC/econic clay derivatives and their industry standards.

2010

Issue Industry Standards

In 2010, the Guangdong Province "Soft Porcelain Building Decoration Material Industry Standard" was released, and 16 provinces and municipalities including Sichuan, Chongqing, Shandong, Heilongjiang and Shanghai successively issued provincial standards for soft porcelain (MCM), thus establishing soft porcelain (MCM) Application compliance in the domestic mainstream construction market.

2008

Phomi Soft Porcelain Founded

In January 2008, Phomi MCM CO.,LTD.(Guangdong Phomi Soft Porcelain Co., Ltd.)was established in Guangzhou. In March, soft ceramic tiles derived from environmentally friendly econic clay were born, and the first soft porcelain production base was completed and put into production in Panyu, Guangzhou.

2003

Laboratory Establishment

In January 2003, EOSD laboratories specializing in the study of microscopic soil particles were established in Guangzhou and Los Angeles.

Phomi Research Institute

Phomiholding has built a team of more than 20 people in 12 years, including post-doctoral, doctoral, master, and undergraduate personnel. The annual R&D expenditure exceeds 9% of the company's total sales revenue. With Peking University, Tongji University, Guangzhou University, and Sun Yat-sen University, the company has established production-university-research projects, and the company has established post-doctoral workstations, provincial engineering technology centers, and academician studios.
